Ever wonder where Wisconsin students migrate to when they go out of state for college?
The Wisconsin Center for the Advancement of Postsecondary Education (WISCAPE) has published an interactive map by UW-Madison's Nicholas Hillman on its blog, which tracks the flow of Wisconsin first-year college students to both public and private universities nationwide in 2014.
Hillman created the map after reading a recent New York Times feature, “How Cuts to Public Universities Have Driven Students Out of State."
Hillman is an associate professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis and a WISCAPE faculty affiliate.
