ASHE Reader Series
Summary
Volumes in the ASHE Reader Series consist of previously published articles and book chapters representing exemplary work in the field. The readers are used extensively by faculty and students in higher education programs throughout the country, as well as scholars, policy analysts, and leaders in higher education, business, and government, to stay informed about issues affecting higher education in the United States and abroad. The series is commonly viewed as the canon of the field.
The Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) selected WISCAPE Faculty Affiliate Jerlando F. L. Jackson as editor of the popular series of compendiums. WISCAPE began housing the editorship on Nov. 1, 2009, and is providing financial support for an editorial assistant throughout its five-year term.
