WISCAPE produces and distributes policy briefs, working papers, research reports,
and other publications representing a wide variety of perspectives on postsecondary
education issues. Authors include the center’s staff, scholars, and affiliates,
as well as those with no formal connection to WISCAPE.
In keeping with WISCAPE’s goal of informing and improving postsecondary education
policy, research, and practice through the creation and exchange of knowledge, the
center shares its publications with an extensive network of scholars, researchers,
policymakers, practitioners, students, business and community leaders, and media.
Several WISCAPE affiliates have completed books, published by a variety of academic presses, with the center’s financial support, promotional assistance, and other forms of sponsorship.
WISCAPE has produced a number of miscellaneous publications through partnerships and collaborations with other organizations.
Written by education scholars and practitioners, WISCAPE Policy Briefs are succinct analyses that provide policymakers, practitioners, and others with knowledge and recommendations based on the latest research and best practices in the field.
WISCAPE Research Reports are based on studies conducted by WISCAPE, its affiliates, or other scholars and practitioners with ties to the center. Final products rather than works in progress, these papers explore various postsecondary education issues with the goal of informing policy, research, and practice in the field.
WISCAPE Viewpoints are insightful essays showcasing expert perspectives on postsecondary educational issues.
WISCAPE Working Papers are designed to showcase articles intended for publication in peer-reviewed journals. Primarily written by the center’s scholars and faculty affiliates, working papers are an excellent opportunity for authors to gather valuable feedback on new and ongoing research from others in the field.
